MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

SANTA I KNOW HIM!!!

As we are all gearing up for the holiday season we all know that giving gifts to everyone on your list can really hurt you already dwindling bank account!  A thoughtful, delicious and pretty cheap (think ~ $10 for a lot of cupcakes!) present can be baked goods. They look great and are sooo easy!  Most of my friends ate theirs the second I gave them theirs!!  

CANDY CANE CUPCAKES!
 INGREDIENTS

• Duncan Heins Classic White Cake Mix (as always because it is THE BEST!)
• oil
• eggs
• festive cupcake liners
• candy canes

• hammer
• ziplock freezer bag

Follow instructions on box and mix batter.

Fun tip that I learned from Martha (love her!): an ice cream scoop is the perfect amount of batter for cupcakes!

Unwrap candy canes and place in bag.

Something I learned from this one: unwrapping 2 dozen candy canes is a pain in the butt!!

Crush candy canes with hammer

place crushed candy canes in bowl for dipping cupcakes in.  (Just like I did in the candy corn cupcakes)

So easy to make and they look great!!
