Because of Pinterest nothing in our lives is ever simple. We now have a resource that fuels creativity so there really is no excuse to simply put out chips and dip at a party anymore. We are now expected to find a crazy ingredient or technique or shape etc basically thanks to Pinterest cooking and crafting are now GO BIG OR GO HOME!
So for my superbowl party I didnt just decide to go big I decided to go epic with a snack stadium! In terms of difficulty mine is pretty much lower tier compared to some like these:
I guess these are something to aspire to next year!
But I did my best and Im pretty freaking proud of it! Also I realize this post is super behind schedule but I am a student/job searcher ahead of social media nerd (as much as I dont like to admit it!)
Building a snack stadium really is not as difficult as one might think! It only took me about 2 hours including making the guac and rice krispies!
Ingredients:
- 1 batch of rice krispie treats (used the recipe on the box! heres a link if you need it!)
- Guacamole (heres a link to my Chipotle copy cat recipe!)
- 1 can of salsa
- Queso of your choice ( I went store bought for time purposes)
- Toothpicks
- Chips (I used scoops and fritos!)
- Cheese Cubes
- Aluminum foil (makes clean up super easy!)
- several drinking straws and scissors for goal posts
- Sour Cream
I used an icing piper to pipe on sour cream yard lines on the guacamole field
Use the tooth picks to connect the rice krispie squares and create the shape of the stadium.
Hint: I taped down the foil so nothing would move!
I cut the straws into the lengths I wanted them to make the goal posts then poked holes in them and connected them using tooth picks. I made them stand by securing them into cheese cubes.
One endzone is queso, the other is salsa

Definitely an impressive feat and a crowd pleaser! Clearly we devoured it
Most of us only watch the superbowl for the ad (I watch for the football
too!) but building a snack stadium gives you another reason to be
excited other than the ads!!
