Literally My Favorite Pizza in the World!!

BBQ Chicken Pizza
Almost every time I eat out if there is BBQ Chicken Pizza on the menu you can almost gauruntee that I will order it!  Some of my favorites were at Transmet, Yourpie and California Pizza Kitchen.

So when I saw a bottle of Fox Bros BBQ sauce in my parents pantry last time I was home, I decided to steal it (typical college kid move...sorry mom!) and try to make my favorite!

Ingredients:

  • Pillsbury Pizza Dough
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Chicken Breast
  • Red Onion
  • Green Onions
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

This one is a little vague because I didn't follow an actual recipe I kind of just winged it!

I put BBQ sauce on my chicken and grilled it on the george foreman but you could cook it in skillet too.  Once it is cooked cube it.

Spread sauce and cheese evenly over crust on a cookie sheet
Add chicken and onions.

Bake for about 8 minutes (until crust is golden and cheese is melted) on 400 degrees.

Its a heart attack in a bowl but its delicious!

Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

I literally used to get so excited to go to my grandmother's house when I was a kid because we always got to eat sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast (my mother NEVER made this so it was a treat!).  Now that I'm in college, I definitely dont get to eat it very often.  That is until I started living with my roommate Sarah who literally makes it once a week.

So I was recently in the grocery store buying ingredients for another recipe when a serious craving for this deliciousness.  So I went and found the stuff I would need to make it...turns out it only costs about $6!! hello cheap!

I used this recipe that I found on the Jimmy Dean website

these are great bc you dont have to wait for the sausage to cook and you can freeze them to keep them on hand! And they come in turkey sausage too for a healthier option!

Ingredients:
  • 1 can of biscuits (I used the pillsbury golden flaky ones)
  • 1 package of Jimmy Dean Hearty Sausage Crumbles
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Follow the instructions on the can of the biscuits.
While the biscuits are baking.  Add sausage crumbles to large skillet and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes

Once sausage is cooked stir in four.

Next add milk and cook until mixture comes to boil and begins to thicken, stirring constantly.

Once it comes to a boil reduce heat to medium-low and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Once it has thickened add salt and pepper for taste.

Cover biscuits with gravy and enjoy!
